This new technology, accessable by way of Physician Portal, will allow you to view patient records through secure computers located throughout Floyd Medical Center and through either your office or home computer with high-speed Internet access.

HPF will not eliminate the paper medical chart. These will be used while the patient remains in the hospital. However, within 24 hours of discharge, the paper chart will be scanned into our new digital system and become electronic. Once electronic, any signatures, approvals or other matters of completion will be conducted on-line.

Trainers will be available throughout the units
and in the Physician Dining Room February 20 –March 2 to assist you with the new process and answer any questions you may have.
