Your help is needed to enable the Health Information Management department to successfully migrate patient charts to Floyd’s new electronic medical record system.

Michele Garrison, assistant director of Health Information Management, is asking physicians to complete all existing deficiencies in Physician Portal by Dec. 31, 2010.

This includes:

• Outstanding dictation
• Missing text
• Signature deficiencies

Remember, Physician Portal will go away in December! Deficiencies in all charts originating on or after October 20 will be resolved in Floyd’s new EMR system using Message Center.
