Dr. Strickland received his bachelor's degree from Northeast Missouri State University, Kirksville, and his medical doctorate from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, Mo. He completed his internship at Phoenix General Hospital, Phoenix, Ariz.

Dr. Strickland is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
