Dr. Holcombe Jr. received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Berry College, Rome, Ga., and his medical doctorate from Medical College of Georgia, Augusta. He completed his family practice residency in internal medicine at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, Atlanta.
